Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Zaki Owais. Head of the Management Department
First of all, it is my pleasure and honor, on behalf of myself and my esteemed professors, colleagues, and faculty members, as well as the teaching assistants in the Business Administration Department – Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration – Helwan University, to welcome you all.
It is indeed an honor for me to head this prestigious department, which was previously led by a distinguished group of esteemed professors to whom I extend my gratitude and appreciation.
Since its establishment, the Business Administration Department has strived to equip its students with the knowledge and skills necessary to keep up with the rapid and continuous developments in the business environment. This is achieved through the development of study plans and the scientific content of the courses, with the aim of preparing qualified graduates capable of adapting to the new changes in the job market.
Students in the Business Administration major study a variety of courses, starting with the basics and principles related to this field, and continuing through the sub-specializations such as organization, marketing, human resource management, finance and investment, financial markets and institutions, production and operations, among others. The curriculum takes into consideration both the practical and theoretical aspects to ensure the intended learning outcomes of the program are met.
