I warmly welcome you, on behalf of myself and on behalf of my esteemed professors and dear colleagues, members of the faculty and their assistants in the Department of Economics and Foreign Trade, to the department's page.

The Department of Economics and Foreign Trade is one of the oldest departments in the faculty and one of the earliest economics departments in Egyptian universities. The department includes distinguished academic staff who hold prestigious positions in Egyptian universities. Its members lecture at numerous Egyptian and Arab universities, provide consultancy services to many Egyptian, Arab, and international economic organizations and institutions, and participate in various committees of the Supreme Council of Universities. They also actively engage in numerous local, regional, and international conferences and events. Furthermore, they have significant contributions published locally, regionally, and internationally and are involved in reviewing and editing for several academic journals at the local, regional, and international levels. Many of the department's graduates hold important positions in various institutions.
