Tasks of the Technical Committees within the Quality Assurance Unit
First: Tasks of the Internal Review and Monitoring Committee:
- Review the program and course descriptions prepared by the academic departments.
- Review the course reports prepared by faculty members in the program.
- Review the compliance of quality and accreditation standard files.
- Review reports on the implementation of improvement plans developed based on self-study and evaluation activities.
- Conduct periodic reviews to assess the college's compliance with resource and material and human facilities standards.
- Provide recommendations for ensuring performance quality and continuous development based on studies from other committees.
Second: Tasks of the Technical Support Committee:
- Provide technical support and continuous internal review in the accreditation application process.
- Support the quality assurance and institutional and academic accreditation processes.
- Provide technical advice on establishing and implementing performance evaluation and quality assurance systems.
- Monitor internal quality assurance mechanisms.
- Oversee the implementation of quality projects in various programs within the college and provide necessary technical support.
- Follow up on updating quality systems in light of changes and various releases from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
Third: Tasks of the Publishing and Media Committee:
- Promote the vision, mission, and strategic goals of the college both within and outside the university.
- Prepare a documented media plan to disseminate the culture of quality among faculty members, their assistants, administrative staff, and students.
- Highlight the importance and role of the Quality Assurance Unit on the college and university websites, while working on producing media materials (brochures, posters, printouts, etc.) that help promote quality culture and concepts.
- Collaborate with other specialized committees in media awareness efforts through seminars and workshops at all functional levels within the college.
- Publicize all activities undertaken by the unit, including field training programs and community involvement.
- Collect data and information related to quality assurance, accreditation, and total quality management, and communicate with the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education to stay updated on new developments and obtain models and guides issued by the authority.
- Contact and coordinate with corresponding centers in other colleges to establish a mechanism for cooperation, integration, and coordination among them.
