Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sayed Qandil, President of the University, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Hossam Rifai, Vice President for Student Affairs, along with Dr. Ahmed Aliq, University Advisor for Student Activities, and Mr. Hisham Refaat, University Secretary-General, and Mr. Mohamed Gad, Director of Youth Care, and Mr. Ayman Abdel Aziz, Director of Sports Activities, along with the coaching staff led by Coach Ahmed Omar and Coach Ahmed Abdel-Nasser, and the supervision of Dr. Momena Mahmoud,
The university team had outstanding participation in the World University Championship in Colombia on 26th-27th April 2024.
- Basmla Sobhi Mohamed, first-year student, Faculty of Physical Education, won second place in the 4x100m Double Fin Relay.
- Nada Magdy Abu Muslim, first-year student, Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration, secured third place in the 400m Monofin Race.
Egypt ranked 3rd overall among world universities.
