Student Services

To obtain a nutrition card from the faculty, the student must complete the following steps:

1. The student must have paid the tuition fees.
2. The student should not be residing in the university dormitory.
3. The student must provide a personal photo.
4. The student must pay a fee of 50 piastres for the issuance of the nutrition card.
5. The price of the dry meal is determined by the university.

Medical Services

Medical services for students are provided through the following:

1. Health units at each faculty, and for faculties in the Helwan University campus (the medical unit in Building "3").
2. The university hospital, located next to the Faculty of Helwan Technology.

Procedure for accessing medical services:

1. The sick student must visit the health unit affiliated with their faculty, bringing their student ID card or proof of payment of tuition fees, along with a personal photo.
2. A medical file will be created for the student, with their photo on the outside, and assigned a unique number that remains with the student throughout their academic career.
3. A medical examination will be conducted for the student, and the appropriate treatment will be prescribed.
4. If the required medication is not available at the unit's pharmacy, the pharmacist will note this, and the student can purchase it from public sector pharmacies. The student must present the receipt along with the prescription and medication to the health unit for reimbursement.
   • If the invoice amount exceeds 50 EGP, the documents will be sent to the General Administration of Medical Affairs to issue a check for the cost of the medication to the student.
